We thought it timely to put up a selection of photos from Elsa’s day to cheer people up in these darker times.
What a fantastic day it was. We have grouped the photos into 8 parts, click the links below to see the photo galleries.

We also wanted to thank:
- The photographers – Steve Abrahall, Bethany Angus, Marie Armstrong, Elizabeth Jenkins, Caro Lankow, Derek Morton and Jinnie Potter. We would especially like to mention Derek for seemingly spending the whole day taking great informal photos of people.
- Music – Merran Cooke and Carol Shand for organising the music, Peter Adams for conducting and everyone for bringing the joy of music to the day.
- Claudia Geiringer for outstanding MC-ing!
- The Hamer/Orange/Adams family for all the things they did, big and small, to make it a great day.
- Andrew Hamer-Adams & Marie Armstrong for setting up this web site.
- Finally, the Shand/ Geiringer family for generously hosting the celebration in their homes on Braithwaite Street, Karori.
Elsa would have been blown away by the day and how much people cared about her.
Since the Celebration, Elsa’s ashes were informally buried at the Avenue North Road Cemetery, Levin on her birthday – 23 February, 2018. There’s a photo of her plaque here.
Please feel free to pass on this site to other friends and family of Elsa’s that we don’t have contact details for.
Best wishes
The Hamer/Orange/Adams family
